Laser Welding Workstation
Solution Overview

Laser welding workstation

Industrial robot laser welding system that integrates high-precision laser technology with 6-axis robotic arms for automated, high-quality metal joining.

This is an industrial robot laser welding system that integrates high-precision laser technology with six-axis robotic arms to deliver fully automated metal joining. Using focused, high-energy laser beams, it melts and fuses workpieces to produce narrow weld seams with low thermal distortion and stable, consistent quality.

Combining high speed, flexibility, and intelligence, the workstation readily adapts to complex workpieces. Widely adopted across the automotive, machinery, and electronics industries, it significantly boosts production efficiency while ensuring repeatable welding performance.

Key Takeaway

By fusing focused laser energy with articulated robotic precision, this workstation delivers narrow, low-distortion welds at 2–5× the speed of conventional methods — running unattended across day and night shifts to raise throughput while cutting labor and rework.

01 Design & Construction

  • Simple & User-Friendly. Features an intuitive, easy-to-operate design that lowers the barrier for operators.
  • High Welding Speed. Achieves welding speeds approximately 2–5 times faster than traditional welding processes.
  • Continuous Day & Night Operation. Capable of uninterrupted multi-shift running, reducing workload while ensuring safety and eco-friendly performance.
  • Long Service Life. Offers a service life of up to 100,000 hours, with intelligent and flexible operation delivering added advantages.
  • Premium Electrical Components. Built with electrical components sourced from renowned domestic and international brands.
  • Triple Safety Protection. Equipped with triple safety protection and modular control, guaranteeing safe and reliable maintenance.

02 Operating Principle

The laser beam is delivered through an optical fiber to the welding torch and focused onto the surface of the workpiece. Absorbed by the material, the laser is converted into heat that melts the base metal or filler wire to form a molten pool. Assisted by an inert gas shield, a high-quality weld bead is produced that firmly bonds the two parts together.

A dedicated chiller circulates water through the laser source and welding head to dissipate heat and maintain a constant operating temperature, protecting the system's critical components.
